Brownies with walnuts

Not quite low carb, but very delicious ;)

  • 270 g flour
  • 120 g sugar
  • 50 g cocoa powder
  • 1 package vanilla surgar
  • 1 tsp. bicarbonate of soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 150 ml soy or rice milk
  • 125 ml sunflower oil
  • 125 ml maple syrup
  • 150 g coarsely chopped walnuts (you can also use other nuts)
  • 200 g chocolate chips (dark chocolate)

First mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla sugar, bicarbonate of soda, and baking powder well. Then add soy or rice milk, oil, and maple syrup and mix all together to a smooth dough. At least add walnuts and chocolate chips and stir among.

Preheat the oven to 175 °C. Meanwhile put the dough on a baking plate with baking paper. The high of the dough should be 2 - 3 cm. Bake the brownies for about 25 minutes. Wait with cutting into small pieces until the dough is cooled off, otherwise the brownies will be crumbly. If its wanted cover up the Brownies with chocolate icing.
