Salad with beetroot and apple

Delicious and fresh salad with beetroot and apple.


  • 200 g green salad to taste
  • 100 g beetroot
  • 1 apple

Salad dressing:

  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 4 tbsp. water
  • 3 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. mustard
  • 1 tbsp. agave nectar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • pepper to taste

Cook the beetroot with the skin for 30 to 45 minutes. Then remove the skin and cut the tuber into small pieces. Wash the green salad and the apple, cut into bite-size pieces and mix in a bowl. After the beetroot is cooled, add it into the salad. Caution: Because the beetroot stained strongly, an apron and a little caution advisable. Now prepare the dressing. Therefore the olive oil, water, lemon juice, mustard, agave syrup, salt, and pepper are mixed together. Just before serving put the dressing over the salad.
