Vegan vanilla kifli

A delicious classic recipe for the Christmas season - quite vegan!

For about 45 pieces:

  • 250 g spelled flour
  • 2 packets vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 100 g almonds (grounded)
  • 200 g vegetable margarine
  • 75 g cane sugar
  • 100g icing sugar

Mix all ingredients - except the icing sugar - at room temperature to a dough. Put the dough for about 20 minutes in the refrigerator. Then form the dough into a roll and cut into slices. Form each slice into small croissants and place them on a baking plate with baking paper.

Bake them at 175 °C for 20 minutes. Finally sprinkle the still-warm vanilla kifli with icing sugar.
